Archives For Facebook Marketing

Digital finance has become a fundamental way of spending and making money. E-commerce accounts for over 20% of all total global retail sales, and it’s only bound to get bigger as the years pass.  That’s why it’s such a ripe opportunity for digital marketers to expand their clientele.

However, simply adapting traditional methods to phones and computers isn’t enough. New strategies and technologies are developed every day, but there are fundamental tenets you can ascribe to that makes digital marketing a solid choice for the finance industry.

Digital Methods

Financial businesses need to develop a custom-made digital strategy centered around their customers for effective customer acquisition. The focus is on using data to make informed decisions and using technology to meet customer needs.

Rather than just transferring traditional marketing methods to the online environment, digital marketing’s strengths lie in what traditional marketing can’t accomplish. Its incredible reach and speed of implementation are unmatched, so think big with your methods.

Understanding Data

Data is crucial in digital marketing. It provides important insights into customer behaviors, preferences, and financial habits. This information allows financial companies to create specific and personalized approaches, leading to improved customer retention.

On a  personal level, data also helps marketers understand their customers better. The “feeling of being marketed to” is often the result of marketers not quite honing on what their customers want. Hard data makes marketers more in tune with what the trends are saying.

Individual Approach

A strategy that personalizes marketing messages to fit specific customer profiles increases customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty. Personalization comes from effective data understanding and is crucial for successful digital marketing.

As mentioned above, data helps marketers be more personal, and this is where they can manifest that to customers. Chatbots, consensual targeted marketing, special offers, and even just holding conversations with customers through comments are better when backed by digital data.

Streamlined Marketing

Streamlining was difficult in the days before the internet. There was no way to see what every business was doing with their style at a moment’s notice. For example, the infamous story where Ray Kroc got angry at his partners in franchising for diverting too far from the McDonald’s identity that he wanted to build.

Marketing automation technology helps to make marketing tasks more efficient and improves the customer experience. This technology assists in ensuring that your brand, no matter where in the world, can provide the same, reliable service that it does on its home turf.

Online Networking

Social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram are the new faces of online marketing. Being active on these platforms and sharing important content is crucial for growth in the modern market. Social media allows that personal touch that many other methods of online marketing simply don’t allow for.

It’s good to maximize all those platforms, but make sure to give priority to the ones giving you the most engagement. That usually means the audience you want is right there.  Paired with Search engine optimization (SEO),  you’ll be providing valuable content, ensuring mobile-friendly web design, and building trust with potential customers.

Website Refinement

The process of improving your website to enhance the customer experience is called conversion optimization. This may involve simplifying website navigation, improving the landing page, or reducing the number of steps to complete a transaction. Remember, most people only spend a few seconds on most sites.

If their first impression is anything negative, this significantly reduces the chances of them visiting your website again. A responsive website that’s clear about where things are supposed to go makes loyal customers. Your website is your virtual headquarters. Nobody wants a headquarters where the floor is wet and the power is always out.

Providing Quality

The biggest mistake that many marketers make is that marketing is all there is. There’s bragging about “being able to sell water to a fish”, but that’s the type of marketing that only works once. If people catch on to the fact that you’re overhyping a service, negative word-of-mouth will overpower any good marketing on your part.

Creating valuable, relevant, and engaging content can significantly increase customer acquisition. Content that explains difficult financial concepts, provides investment insights or offers financial advice can attract potential customers and establish your business as a trusted source of financial information.

Final Note

Digital marketing is a strategic approach to customer acquisition in the financial world. It is about understanding the customer, using data to make decisions, and using technology to improve processes. The fundamentals above will get your foot in the door, but digital marketing is a multi-headed beast.

There are so many ways to tackle it, and it seems every secret uncovered leads you down a rabbit hole of more strategies. Stick to what’s trusted as a safety net, but never allow yourself to stagnate. In the competitive financial sector, digital marketing provides an irrefutable advantage.

Facebook Retargeting Strategies

Facebook Retargeting Strategies

There’s a hot new topic in Internet Marketing that I want to explore with you. It’s called retargeting. I specifically want to talk about retargeting (sometimes called remarketing) on Facebook. When used correctly, Facebook can be a powerful tool to make more money from your list. Not only that but Facebook has now integrated a couple new features that make retargeting easier than ever.

Retargeting or remarketing is all about reaching out to people who have made certain actions on your website. All you need to do is place the remarketing pixel on your website to make this happen. From there, that pixel tracks everyone who visits your site and allows you to send ads through Facebook to try to recapture their attention, depending on which action they took.

The way to retarget to visitors of your site is by creating Custom Audiences. For instance, I have created a Custom Audience consisting entirely on my clickers. I’ve imported this list from my Get Response account. It’s a very easy process to do and then you can create targeted ads for those people on your list.

Another thing you can do, which I have not personally done yet is you can target people who have come to your website but failed to make a purchase or you can target people who are existing customers with the goal of getting them to purchase more products or even more expensive products. You can even do both. To utilize this feature, all you need to do is place the remarketing pixel on your website. From there, the pixel tracks everyone who visits your site. Then you can send them ads to recapture their attention depending on which action they took and which Custom Audience you’ve placed them in.

The main idea behind this tool is to make more money and you can do it easily. It’s a powerful method of finding users who have expressed interest in your product or website. Retargeting through Facebook is an opportunity to get the results you want (but possibly didn’t get the first time around).

Facebook has recently made some changes that are beneficial to us marketers. Because of the new changes implemented late last year, your retargeted ads are now able to reach users through their mobile devices. This gives us even more chances to grab the attention of the people on our lists and our potential customers.

Lastly, an interesting point I’d like to mention is that you can exploit Facebook ads to give your customers some attention and loving. You can use the Custom Audiences as a way to keep your clients or your list in the loop about upcoming products, services or content they may be interested in. Now I know many Internet marketers would not be interested in this avenue but it is something to consider depending on what type of list you have created or plan to create.

As social media becomes more integrated with how we run business and market our campaigns, we need to be vigilant about learning and taking advantage of new tools and concepts. Keep your eye on this new trend in Internet marketing but decide for yourself if you and your list building efforts could benefit from it. That’s the bottom line, after all.

There are many strategies to making money on the internet, but nothing makes sense unless you have a big list. Email Marketing is the most profitable way to make money on the internet. When you build a list of hot and hungry prospects you control your future. Discover how to use the internet and turn your computer into a cash gushing machine. Facebook Etiquette-How Not To Be A Facebook Parasite

I was on Facebook today and I saw a former member of one of my online businesses posting comments on all my posts.  First, I thought that maybe they were commenting on some of my posts to interact or just because they liked something.  So of course I clicked on the post to see what the comment was. It was them basically posting a link to some other online business without even asking me first.  I have seen lots of crazy stuff going on on Facebook that is sometimes just plain rude, so I thought I would do a post today talking a little about Facebook Etiquette.  According to the perfect non link club I may not always hit the number one spot, but as far as I am concerned there are certain lines and boundaries. When it comes to what to do and what not to do on Facebook.

I am going to just pretend some people have not figured out yet or will not understand what they are doing wrong until someone points it out to them.  So here are some things probably common sense you don’t do on Facebook.

1. Do not post or advertise blatantly on someones private Facebook wall and if you want to then at least have the decency to  Ask Them First .

2. If someone gives you the use of their Facebook group, yes actually adds you and gives you permission to post in it. Then do not post comments advertising your business with or without a link in everyone elses post by commenting on them.  This drives me so crazy why on earth would you do this when you have a whole group to post on.

3. Just because someone has got a Facebook group which they created added content and invited members to join. And as the creator of the group they are allowed to pin a post on the top of the group.  Do not spam your link or business opportunity to someones pinned post, Anyone who does this in any of my groups gets banned instantly.  So it is not a practise that I would recommend you do, especially if you want to remain a member of groups..  🙂

4. I am not a great person for rules so I am quite easygoing with what people can post in the group except for a few things that I will mention in the next few sections. But sometimes when you set up a group because of the type of group, sometimes you may need to create a few rules. If you do make sure you have them up near the top of the post where someone can see them.

5. If you want to share your link or sell some stuff on Facebook that is fine. Whether it be on your wall or in groups. If you are I would suggest not selling 100% of the time post content on two posts then maybe a sales pitch in the third post.  If you are consistently selling and nothing else people will get pissed off and unfriend or block you. Which means all your marketing efforts will be in vain.  So attract an audience or friends with great content and throw in a link to a product, a training or service for sale now and again and you will do fine.

6. Don’t be the Facebook police – I find this quite funny I hear some marketers whining about people sharing links on Facebook being spam.  I entirely disagree in fact many of these marketers when they started out used exactly the same tactics to make money.  Once they made some money they could then pay thousands for Facebook Ads And paid advertising.  If you don’t have a lot of money to invest in paid ads and do not put out a link from time to time .  You will stay broke so when it comes to no links on Facebook advice from the guru’s …  Skip The Advice – Until you become a guru of course and can spend $1000 a day on paid advertising.

7. Facebook Groups With Rules – Or some rules I do on Facebook they are kinda common sense really.   In some cases when you set up a group for a specific purpose not all posts would be or should be welcome.   In my network marketing group I am not bothered and do not interfere in what business opportunities people are posting. But in my You Tube Share and comment group there are rules- like before you post a You Tube video link you must like share and comment three other members videos. Or if your group is Vegan you won’t want people advertising blog posts about milk or roast beef dinners, kind of common sense really.

8. Facebook Group No No’s I delete any pornographic videos I see on my network marketing or any other groups.  Anything with gory or horrific pictures ar racist slander gets automatically deleted and the member who posted them gets blocked ASAP.

9. Do not tag friends or other peoples friends in your advertising unless they have shown an interest in your market before.  I had this crazy ex VA who stole one of my clients and then had the cheek to tag all my friends on my ex clients posts.  This is Facebook marketing at it’s lowest..   🙁

Hope you found this useful and it helps you grow a much bigger better business on Facebook please feel free to share with your friends and comment if you found this post beneficial. 🙂

What’s The Difference Between Facebook Pages vs. Facebook Profiles

Are You A Facebook Snob (And if so why?)

I have to say after marketing online for about ten years and going to lots of different events, meeting cool mentors and inspirational people.  It leaves me in bewilderment when you get the most common type people with little personality. Very little of interest to say, who think they are cool lol..

I saw a message on Facebook the other day from someone talking about how careful they are picking FB friends and how cool they seem to think that is.. Lol When I see people like that I think to myself get a life, this is the start of racism when people go around judging other.

If they had something special to offer the world or a good reason for example they wanted to help 5000 orphans find a home  and saved their requests for the orphans, you could possibly understand.

I have seen one or two Internet Marketers go off their head in their time. Saying I am deleting anyone who is not worthy.. If you aren’t family or my best mate I cannot be your Facebook friend..  Yes they suddenly went from 5000 Friends to 120 overnight giving the middle finger to all their friends fans and customers in the process.

Lets put it this way if you can disturb people with your emails on a daily basis. Would you not have a little etiquette when they walk into a room and acknowledge them. Or on your Facebook wall..

If not then you are most probably a sad person with little or no morals and I am afraid you are probably to far up your own ass to notice anyway.. Yes you are so cool and your ego agrees so let’s not get you to far away from that…  LOL..

I have to say I have some really genuine cool friends on Facebook and making a book or a few dollars doesn’t turn them into a Facebook tyrant. They realise that their friends on Facebook are some of the people who put them where they are today.. And are grateful and more than happy to acknowledge and communicate with their friends and subscribers.  Yes that is part of the reason why they are so successful.

In their business so next time you are making a snyde comment about who you add on Facebook just remember.. You do not know who your sad judgement is turning down ..  They could be your next million dollar client or the next Mark Zuckerberg looking to JV with you..

So set the big ego aside wise up and have an awesome New Year 🙂

Good Solid Advice About Facebook Marketing That Anyone Can Use

Is Facebook marketing a mystery to you? Instead of guessing at what you need to do, slow down and take the time to learn the basics. This article is a good starting point for learning how to create a successful marketing campaign on Facebook that will attract lots of customers.

Focus all of your Facebook posts towards your business or industry. Make them relevant and inform your customers and fans about things they would be interested in. Don’t just make a post without having a purpose. Your customers already have enough information coming to them, so make your posts relevant so they stand out.

Try to use Facebook ads. Posting on your page only goes so far. To achieve real results deep into your customer base, Facebook ads may be ideal. They aren’t too costly, and can make a world of difference.

Choose your Facebook profile picture carefully. You could for instance use an image of your logo or latest product. Do not hesitate to change your profile picture regularly but make sure your page remains easy to identify. Customize your page further by creating a cover picture that corresponds to the kind of designs you have been using for your other marketing campaigns.

Don’t be afraid to promote yourself. You often here that it’s bad to hard sell your products on social media, and that is true. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t celebrate milestones and other big moments. People love feeling like a brand is personal, and milestones add to that feel. It’s a human touch that really makes a difference.

Add pictures to your profile page. People love pictures and it really is true that a picture is worth a thousand words. When your fans can see what you have to offer, your customers with your products or services, or what you stand for, they will feel more of a connection to your company.

Get fans involved in brand or company decisions. People enjoy being on the “inside.” It’s a wise choice to have your community involved in your basic decisions. When you want advice on topics to cover on your blog, just ask!

Don’t be afraid to get personal. Even if you’re a company, getting a little personal can really do a lot to build customer engagement and loyalty. But don’t go too far! People don’t need to know every single monotonous detail of your life. Find a happy balance that gets people interested in your brand.

You should consider hiring someone to handle your Facebook marketing strategy. Facebook has become very competitive recently due to its high rate of use, and because of this it can be hard for an amateur to create a quality page that can stand out. If you do not feel comfortable on Facebook this is probably your best bet.

Make a personality for your brand. If people find everything you post to be stale and brand, this will give them the same perception about your brand. Show some personality, however remember to remain professional.

Become an authority in your field. Use all the resources at your disposal. Find opportunities to answer questions, and look for moments to post comments related to what you know best. This helps introduce you and your brand to lots of new people.

Get your fans involved, particularly if you have a new product. Ask them to help you name it or to come up with an advertising slogan. When they feel invested in the process, they are much more likely to buy it and to encourage others to do so as well.

Visitors should be able to identify the theme of your Facebook page right away. Choose a profile picture and a cover page related to your theme and write a short but efficient description of your brand on your profile page. This is very important if your brand is not recognizable yet.

Do not be too serious on Facebook. You can be a professional and still take a light-hearted approach to things. You will get much more interaction with your followers that way, and people will also feel more like they can identify with you if you are not so stiff all the time.

Promote sales on Facebook while you build your list of friends. Targets new as well as long time friends with special offers and promotions. When you do not offer deals, your potential clients may go elsewhere.

Never make the mistake of starting a Facebook page and thinking that it will run itself. It takes a lot of hard work to create a solid fan base on Facebook, so only begin a page if you expect to see it through. If it is more than you can handle, you should look for other ways to market your business.

Offer exclusive discounts and fabulous deals to your Facebook customer base. People like to be rewarded for their loyalty, so treating long time people very well will increase their favoritism for you and encourage word-of-mouth advertising. All of which will yield you more customers and sales in the long run!

Encourage subscribers to interact with each other, for instance by sharing questions or starting some games on Facebook. Think of some fun games you could play with your subscribers, such as trivia questions, word association games or riddles. Make subscribers comfortable about sharing content with you and each other by moderating negative comments.

Every once in a while, hold a giveaway on Facebook! Nothing will boost your marketing efforts faster than freebies nor spread your company’s message further. Give short notice to the promotion, creating a rapid-fire response that will spread through social media pages at the speed of light. You’ll find yourself with a lot more prospective customers when it’s all over!

Facebook marketing should no longer be a mysterious art. You should now know what to do to get started. Of course, it’s important to always keep learning! However, the tips you

just read should carry you through the beginning stages of your marketing campaign so that you can see some success.
