I was driving along one of the busiest roads in Northern Ireland in rush hour traffic which I never do lol.. And my clutch in the car stopped working, If you can imagine a line of miles of traffic behind me some even beeping the horn it was pretty crazy.
Getting a tow truck was going to take ages so I made a decision. Even though I couldn’t get my car into gear to drive it I was going to get off this road a 2 mile drive.
So my brain went to work by this stage someone had helped to push the car a bit up a kerb which was actually going up a hill and I was figuring out how the F$%k am I going to actually move this car.
I rang a friend of mine and he told me to turn the ignition off put the car into second gear and get prepared for a bumpy start. Bumpy start it was but once I got the car moving It started going okay just crawling along in 2nd gear.
Till I had to do a right turn at a busy junction once again the car stalled it was either stall or drive into the back of other cars.
I managed to re start it the ghastly way in second gear and parked the car up off the main road till help could arrive.
The moral of the story is when you decide you are going to do something no matter how bad or difficult things seem you can set your mind to do it
That was only the start of my exciting day but I won’t go in to all the rest of it lol.. The one good thing was while all this was happening I made a couple of commissions from my business on autopilot..
Thanks to my online business I don’t have to worry about where the money will come from to repair the car, I am very lucky as I have passive income streams coming in all the time..
I came back home and watched this video on You Tube by T Harv Ecker and thought to myself isn’t it awesome. In fact aren’t we all awesome.
Like he says in the video we can decide to have a shit day no matter what happens, or you can decide to have an awesome day no matter what happens. You decide which you would prefer it to be.
Personally I have no intention of becoming a crap magnet so I had an awesome day. I figured out how to drive a car on the busiest road in Northern Ireland with no clutch. I got a nice breakfast in the shop, I went on a modern train for he first time in ages just so happened the car ended up, beside the train station.
And by tomorrow I will have solved another one of lifes hiccups and even got some content for my blog from it.. How awesome is that next time life throws some stuff at you make sure you are wearing your awesome glasses 🙂
