Life Is Full Of Surprises!!
I found out today I am going to be a daddy for the fourth time once again was completely unexpected but living a life full of surprises is never dull.
I told my three sons they where going to have a little brother or sister and quite predictably my two youngest sons where very happy and my oldest son was very upset.
I had a feeling he might be, call it parents intuition my eldest son is very sensitive and he worries a lot. But after a private conversation he went from crying almost hysterical fits to words of wisdom..
He was worried about the baby getting all the attention and I think that his biggest worry was also about someone taking over his ensuite bedroom..
After some reassurance from me that nothing will change. And a gentle reminder that by the time his brother or sister is calling his mum to get her attention he will be 16 years old. Yes I don’t think as a 16 year old you will have any reason to be worried about a toddler taking the limelight I told him.
