Today on Easter Sunday we celebrated my eldest son Aristotle ‘s 12TH Birthday. It is really hard to believe it is 12 years since he was born. It’s his Last year of childhood next year he will become a teenager..

I had a bit of a Deja Vu parent moment yesterday when I took my three sons hiking up the side of Slieve Donard Park in Newcastle Co, Down yesterday. As a 15 year old teenager I used to do mountain biking down the side of that mountain.
Boys By The Stream
I used to cycle 30 to 60 miles a day at least 6 days a week as a teenager , that was dedication for you .. I remember on my 15th Birthday taking my dad mountain biking around Belvoir Park in Belfast. And it nearly killed him not literally, but here I was yesterday 26 years later at 41 years old.
About the same age my dad was when he went for that cycle and of course my youngest son was running up the side of the mountain like a mountain goat. And the other two boys as well With me the old timer dragging behind lol… Unfortunately 12 years of working from an office can do that when not mixed with enough regular exercise.
Today we went out for lunch and the man in the restaurant brought out the birthday cake with sparklers for my 12 year old son then ended off with a nice walk around Lady Dixon Park.. Again a lot has changed since I was a teenager working my tail off in 4 jobs to keep up all the luxuries with no free time.
I am Now in my 41St Year being able to take time off whenever I want to be with my family working a business from home. Is Something to me that is 1000% Priceless.
After an exhausting two days gallivanting we just landed back at 5pm before passing out in bed then waking up about 10PM
