Content VS Marketing

If you follow a lot of bloggers online you will always here a lot of talk about creating great content and probably also quite a lot about Search Engine Optimization  or SEO as well.

Now I am sure lots of different bloggers and internet marketers have lots of opinions on this subject.  Personally I believe you need to have both some good content not necessarily yours and a great marketing strategy to get eyes on your business.

I believe one without the other is kinda like a car without wheels, or a car without an engine.  It doesn’t matter how great your content is but if no one sees it then there is very little chance of you getting any business or branding from it.

I hear people talking all the time about blogging daily but the big question is are you just blogging daily.  Or are you blogging and marketing like a madman or madwoman daily..   This is what often separates the winners from the losers.  Of course your call to action and content needs to make sense too.   And appeal to the WIIFM   What’s in it for me question as well..

Let’s be honest with ourselves when people join our business it’s not because they think we are cool!!   It’s because of what they can see in it for them to join our business at the end of the day.  Be it more money, more freedom or more time or whatever your product or service will give them..

Another great question to ask yourself when you visit a blog post you have made is the So What question!!

This is a great product!!  So what

ABC company has been in business a gazillion years..   So what..

Want to get rid of that itch you have been having thats kept you up for the last three nights??   Yes Please

Do your blog posts or statements make people say so what?

Or does it give them what they are really looking for.  If it is so what!! And you do not answer that question then the likelyhood of them buying something from you on this visit or even the next one is mighty slim..

As well as liking you which can also of course help. 

People wanting or seeing the need that they have fulfilled,  and or the benefits that having your product or service will give them is extremely important!!

What can your product or service do for them?

Is your business opportunity product or service helping people with any of these things, and if so make sure that you point out the benefits in your content.

Never take it for granted that someone will already know the benefits!!

3. Being able to spend time with my three boys daily and getting to see them grow up something lots of parents miss out on.

6. Being able to make money 24/7 while I sleep.

7. Being able to make money while I am enjoying myself at a birthday party.

8. Being able to help other people make more money if and when they decide too.

10. Being able to work 24/7 even when I am not there which my videos and blogs do no matter where in the world I am regardless of whether I have an Internet Connection or not.

14. Helping my children realize they do not have to be a slave to money, when their business and money can work for them harder than they can..
